BOOK READING FOR AUGUST - NOVEMBER

Hello fellow bookworms,
I hope you are basking and living out the wisdom you have been gathering from all the pages so far.
For the next few months, we will be consuming and hopefully putting to practice some of the books below.

We start with a recent book written by renowned writer, T.D. Jakes: Reposition Yourself: Living Life Without Limits.

Brief Synopsis:
In Reposition Yourself, T.D. Jakes insightfully enables you to adjust to the many changes that life brings. Along with confronting areas where subtle passivity or poor choices may have held you back, Jakes instructs you in how to manage change and maximize life now. With wisdom and practicality, Jakes covers financial, relational, and spiritual creativity and shows how adapting to transitional life moments can lead to an enriched existence filled with contentment at every stage. If you're seeking to make the future years even more productive, Reposition Yourself offers reality-based plans to help you embrace and expect change, rather than fear it.

The second book has been around for a while. It is written by best selling author Alec Mackenzie and Pat Nikerson: The Time Trap

Brief synopsis
Since it was first published, The Time Trap, by internationally known authority Alec Mackenzie, has indeed become The Classic Book on Time Management, as proclaimed in its subtitle. Based on the theory that self-management is the key to handling the time crunch that we all face, it focuses primarily on Mackenzie's 20 biggest time wasters, such as telephone interruptions, the inability to say "no," and personal disorganization, and offers clear step-by-step ways to combat them. The updated third edition also includes information on time problems caused by technology, downsizing, and self-employment.

The final book is written by another best selling author Larry Julian : God is my Coach

Brief Synopsis
Business leadership coach Larry Julian helps readers navigate "the gray zone"-those make or break moments of decision making that are filled with uncertainty. There are times when intellectual and business logic are tested beyond one's perceived limits, when important decisions have no correct answers and can only be made by a leap of faith. Our true greatness lies within the gray. Julian shows readers that, with God's guidance, uncertainty is the very catalyst for making wise, impactful decisions that shape destinies. We learn to live and lead in the context of uncertainty rather than becoming paralyzed by it. GOD IS MY COACH is the means to living a significant life and to leading others in an uncertain world.
